this goes out to you, Grandma.
it has been three days since you left us all.
for the past three days, everytime i stood next to your coffin.
glancing at you teary-eyed.it seems as though any minute from now
you're gonna open your eyes and tell me it had all been a bad dream.
and that you're gonna live forever.even pass my 18th birthday.
see me holding my driver's liscense.putting on the veil over my head
on my wedding day.and holding your great-grandchildren in your arms.
but as reality settles in.you're still there.eyes closed yet a radiant smile
over your face. you're really gone.
to a better place.where all your sufferings have been lifted.
where you sit high up watching over us.
i'm sorry, i wasn't there for your last few minutes.
but you'll always be etched in my memory.
the times when we spent figuring out how Chinese came about.
watching cook shows every afternoon.
and all the other uncountable yet memorable moments.
grandma.i love you.
