i think Lit is really cool.
like seriously, i like the subject!
i get totally awed when the teacher finishes explaining
the true meaning of the poem.
i think poets are the most romantic people on Earth.
so be one to impress me.you'll get extra points. *ahem*

As virtuous men pass wildly away,
And whisper to their souls to go,
Whilst some of their sad friends do say,
"Now his breath goes," and some say, "No."

So let us melt, and make no noise,
No tear-floods, nor sigh-tempests move;
'Twere profanation of out joys
To tell the laity our love.

Moving of th' earth brings harms and fears;
Men reckon what it did, and meant;
But trepidation of the spheres,
Though greater fear, is innocent.

Dull sublunary lovers' love
-whose soul is sense-cannot admit
Of absence, 'cause it doth remove
The thing which elemented it

But we by a love so much refined,
That ourselves know what it is,
Inter-assured of the mind,
Care less, eyes, lips and hands to miss.

Our two souls therefore, which are one,
Though i must go, endure not yet
a breach, but an expansion,
Like gold to aery thinness beat.

If they be tow, they are two so
As stiff twin compasses are two;
Thy soul, the fix'd foot, makes no show
To move, but doth, if th' other do.

And though it in the centre sit,
Yet, when the other far doth roam,
It leans, and hearkens after it,
And grows erect, as that comes home.

Such wilt thou be to me, who must,
Like th' other foot, obliquely run;
Thy firmness makes my circle just,
And makes me end where i begun.

See, the magic of poetry. awwwwww.

School is boring.
i have to wake up early. :(
duh, which school doesn't have to wake up early.
and also, school makes you learn Economics which i seriously,
till now still do not have an idea what the hell it is about.
i only know its some kind of social science where it brings about
human behavior in why they spent to contribute to the economy
but they bring in weird terms like Macroeconomics, normative analysis?
i thought it was just one whole chunk of calculations! hmmmm.

Anyway, went to Park Royal hotel to celebrate Meimei's 2nd year birthday. :)
not bad after a whole day of mugging and ardous training in school.

Birthday girl.

alright, that post was a wee bit emotional.
its like that when you take Lit in JC now.
YES! i know, i'm taking LITERATURE! of higher caliber now.woohoooo.
oh well, JC.
is really profound. people don't ask you anymore like ' Eh,after school rokok at the block'
rather they go ' Sorry, regarding your response to question 2,how did you manage?'
told you it was really profound. they are seriously serious can!
i'm still merely enjoying the past few days of lectures though some can really make you
really dead sleepy. And its just the second day! Imagine the rest of the days to come? :(

I'll try to survive.

And lastly, i like my break buddies.
And i love the guy who looks hot in just a white man top.
but looks gay in every other shirt. :)

Guys, don't fade.
As they said, secondary school friends last the longest throughout
someone's life.
And, i'm referring to those few close friends that were there for me
during secondary school life. Like, the netball girls.
you guys meant the most to me when i first step into Peirce,
it's like Netball was something to call my own.
Where i knew that you guys would always stand up for me,
and also wait for me at the end of the match, never failing to pat me on the back
and said that i had tried my best during the game. Support each other during killer trainings.
And those days when neoprint craze was in the air,we all tried to squeeze into a machine,
trying to get our face in the teeny screen? yes, that was us back then.
Now? All forgotten? Where's the slightest bit of Netball team spirit?
We don't even acknowledge each other when we meet along the streets,
let alone even bothering calling up each other to arrange for more meetups.
Didn't we plan to go back down to Rochor Road to have the beancurd that we had 3 years ago?
Guys, i hope we can still hang out the way we once did. I still think, that little inch of team spirit is still deep down somewhere inside. Mine is still struggling to hold on.
Let us ignite the flame. Once again. I really do miss you guys.way alot.

Hello there, thousand eight sire.

And so, another year has pass.
Leave the bad mementos behind and look forward to a virginal beginning.
Last night, we girls planned to stay over at Icon for the Countdown. Sadly, Serena wasn't able to join us.
at least theres always next year,it's not like as if we aren't gonna see each other again.haha.

We did some shopping in town first before heading down to Marina Bay to catch the fireworks display.
Hows catching it with your besties in the whole wide world plus your ultimate sweet boyfriend? Its :))).
Though we were kinda like arguing bout which is really the Finale, still we were like wowing at the displays.
Not bad for a kick off into the year! :)

After eating into the new year, we went Kbox of all places.haha.
heard that celebrating by singing is quite a good way to scare off the calamitous air round us.
(oh yea,i got this book which is about the Feng Shui of Sheep for 2008, it
says we are prone to inauspiciousism this year,so hang up all those amulets or whatever you have.)
We sang till the wee hours of the morning and headed back to Icon.
girlfriends, i'm really honoured to be able to spend my last few hours of 2007 and first few hours of 2008 with you guys! :D

Baby, remember what the Feng Shui book said? HAHA.
hiccups but still we're at it! Thank you for all the times that you tolerated my temper
and going through the ups and downs that i had.
I love you.wholeheartedly.
